Dr. Jenni Groves attended Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania for her undergraduate work and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed several externships including at the Veterans Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System in Newington, Connecticut and Sewells Point Branch Medical Clinic on the U.S. Naval Station in Norfolk, Virginia. In addition to interning at a private practice and at Boston Medical Center, Dr. Groves also interned at a number of community health centers in the greater Boston area including the Jean Yawkey Place (a professional medical center that serves the homeless) and Perkins School for the Blind. Dr. Groves was awarded clinical honors from 2012 to 2014.
Dr. Groves is a member of the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and the Tidewater Optometric Society. In her free time, Dr. Groves enjoys an active lifestyle playing lacrosse, soccer, softball, running, skiing, and going to the beach.
