Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Veronica Sullivan served in the US Navy. During her time onboard the USS SHENANDOAH, she attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and, after graduating from Old Dominion University, she earned her doctorate from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. During her military service, as an optometrist, Dr. Sullivan gained extensive knowledge in acute ocular care, refractive surgery, management of ocular diseases, and primary care optometry.
Dr. Sullivan is a member of the Armed Forces Optometric Association, Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Sullivan is a passionate teacher, devoted to continued education. She has established two successful optometry externship program and served as an adjunct professor.
Dr. Sullivan lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, daughter and two miniature schnauzers. Dr. Sullivan is an avid reader and enjoys spending time outdoors.
